Make content about: Freya taught her class about epilepsy
Nine-year-old Freya was nervous about being different after an epilepsy diagnosis, so she taught her classmates how to support her.
This story
Freya was diagnosed with epilepsy at age eight, which brought a big change to her life. When her class discussed medical conditions during an assembly, her teacher asked if she wanted to talk about her own experience. She created and delivered her first school presentation to explain what absence seizures look like and how friends can help if one happens.
