Make content about: Fraser is an award-winning housekeeper

Fraser started at a care home on a supported internship. Now he is an award-winning housekeeper.

This story

Fraser started a 12-week college internship at a care home in Chippenham, rotating through laundry, housekeeping, the kitchen and the coffee shop. Because he has autism and a learning difficulty, he worked with his manager to break tasks down step by step and carry a digital clock to manage his time. He was appointed as a housekeeper and went on to be highly commended in regional supported employment awards.

Where you could take it

Shadow Fraser on a shift at the care home and visit him at a Melksham Stags rugby session.
