Make content about: Flis found her voice in the arts

After profound family loss, Flis spent three years recovering and rediscovered her voice through Southampton's creative community.

This story

After graduating in 2005, Flis struggled to break into television editing before finding a path in arts management across Hampshire. Later, profound losses in her family deeply tested her, prompting three years of recovery and reflection. Supported by friends, neighbours and local creative spaces, she joined a leadership programme and started a new role supporting local freelancers.
