Make content about: Emmagayle runs a national letters desk

Emmagayle doubted there was a place for her in media. Today she runs a national newspaper letters desk.

This story

Growing up near Glasgow with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, Emmagayle worried about entering the workplace as a full-time wheelchair user. After returning to college as a mature student, she completed a journalism qualification and secured an internship with a national paper. She now runs the letters desk for a national newspaper and co-founded an organisation supporting disabled journalists.

Where you could take it

Spend a day with Emmagayle at work to see how she curates the paper's letters desk and balances newsroom life with fatigue.
