This story
Emma initially slept rough in her car in freezing conditions while struggling with addiction, poor mental health, and psychosis. After her car was stolen, she was left street homeless and frequently in crisis. With support into temporary housing and then a permanent council flat, she developed practical skills, sustained her tenancy, and now volunteers.
