Make content about: Emma runs her third London Marathon

Emma is preparing to run her third London Marathon after seven surgeries and having to learn to walk again.

This story

Emma played football until age 41, when she severely injured her knee for the second time. After two further operations took her total to seven, she completed extensive physiotherapy, adapted to living without a key knee ligament, and learned to walk and run again. She is now preparing to take on her third London Marathon to support young people.
