Make content about: Ella ran the London Marathon
After seeing macular degeneration change her grandad's life, Ella took on 26.2 miles of the London Marathon to support others facing sight loss.
This story
Watching her grandad become registered blind due to macular degeneration showed Ella how isolating and difficult everyday tasks could become. Inspired by his experience, she signed up to run 26.2 miles at the London Marathon. She set out to raise funds for Deafblind UK to support people living with sight and hearing loss.
