Make content about: Elizabeth found a way out of crisis

Elizabeth went from working as a children's nurse to hiding behind curtains with severe depression, until a dedicated social worker stepped in.

This story

Elizabeth was working as a children's nurse on a mental health unit when an event triggered severe depression, anxiety, and self-harm. Trapped in a cycle of hospital stays and respite, she was supported by a social worker who attended intimidating ward meetings for her and intervened when a hospital overdosed her. Over four years of regular visits at home, her condition improved until she was transitioned to care under a consultant psychiatrist.
