Make content about: Diane speaks out on ovarian cancer

Diane pushed for tests when doctors dismissed her symptoms. Now she campaigns to help other women get diagnosed early.

This story

In 2021, while her husband was treated for bowel cancer, Diane experienced persistent bloating and appetite changes and arranged private scans after facing delays. She was diagnosed with stage 1 ovarian cancer and underwent surgery to remove her ovaries. Today, she lives with regular monitoring and hernias from surgery while speaking out to help others recognise symptoms sooner.
