Make content about: Daniel is taking on a marathon

After a skiing accident tore his knee ligament, Daniel rebuilt his strength and is taking on the Manchester Marathon.

This story

In 2023, a skiing accident ruptured Daniel's knee ligament, leaving him with fifteen months of instability and waiting before reconstructive surgery in April 2024. As a regular runner and former police officer, he struggled watching his mobility and confidence disappear during the wait. Specialist rehabilitation at Flint House helped him regain strength in his knee and rebuild his confidence. He is now preparing to run the Manchester Marathon in April 2027 wearing his old police collar number.
