Make content about: Cordelia found relief at camp

Cordelia spent years managing medical emergencies for her twins before residential camps gave her family a chance to find joy.

This story

In Peterborough, Cordelia cared around the clock for four children, including twins Tomi and Tobi who live with sickle cell disease. In 2021, Tobi suffered an infection, a stroke, and a heart attack that put him in intensive care before he recovered to receive a bone marrow transplant. Attending residential camps gave Cordelia her first break from caregiving and gave the children a safe place to build friendships and have fun together.
