Make content about: Claire is training to support women
Claire survived a life-threatening attack in her home, rebuilt the use of her hands, and is now training to support other women.
This story
After being attacked and critically injured at home, Claire received emergency hospital-level care at the scene before undergoing multiple surgeries. She spent three and a half weeks in hospital and faced a year of intense physiotherapy to regain the use of her hands and shoulder. She has since moved into a new home, started volunteering at a charity shop, and is training to become a domestic abuse worker.
