Make content about: Ciaran is running Brighton Marathon

Ciaran watched doctors fight to resuscitate his newborn son. Now he is taking on the Brighton Marathon for the hospital team.

This story

When Ciaran's son Leo was born, complications led to an emergency caesarean and doctors spent 45 minutes resuscitating him after oxygen deprivation. Leo spent ten days in specialist neonatal care and another three weeks in hospital over Christmas on oxygen support. Grateful for the staff who saved Leo's life, Ciaran signed up to run the Brighton Marathon to raise funds for the neonatal unit.
