When Chris's grandfather Leslie was injured in 2020 and his dementia worsened, their family struggled to secure care home funding during lockdown. An armed forces charity stepped in to cover the monthly shortfall until Leslie passed away. Chris is now preparing to tackle three years of endurance challenges, building up to a full Ironman to support the charity.
