Make content about: Chris reached the national para squad

Diagnosed with severe visual impairment as a baby, Chris became an elite martial artist with the national para squad.

This story

Chris entered eye care at just one month old with bilateral coloboma and nystagmus, finding it difficult to read small print or recognise faces at a distance. After laser surgery and cataract treatments, his vision improved substantially. He took up Taekwondo at the age of three, went on to join the national para squad, and now teaches the sport to other visually impaired athletes.

Where you could take it

Join Chris at a training session to see how he adapts Taekwondo techniques for people with sight loss.
