Make content about: Charlotte went home two weeks early

Ten-year-old Charlotte was stuck in a hospital bed after major brain surgery until an in-hospital cinema visit helped kickstart her recovery.

This story

After having a stroke as a baby, Charlotte experienced years of distressing seizures and spasms before undergoing surgery to disconnect both halves of her brain. During her recovery on the ward, she was invited into a special hospital cinema to watch a movie from her bed. Charlotte made rapid progress afterwards, was discharged two weeks early, and is now working on her physio at home.
