Make content about: Charlie is winning on the ice

Charlie spent years sofa surfing and facing mental health crises. Today he has a secure flat and wins ice skating competitions.

This story

Charlie left home at 13 after experiencing abuse and lived with his grandmother until she died when he was 17. After years of sofa surfing, a breakup in Sheffield left him homeless and led to multiple suicide attempts. Supported accommodation and counselling helped him rebuild his mental health, and he has since become a peer educator and taken up competitive ice skating.
