Make content about: Cat is giving back to her shelter
Cat sofa-surfed for years as a teenager. Today she is a homeowner giving back to the shelter that supported her.
This story
Cat spent her teenage years staying on spare beds and settees after leaving home at fourteen. At eighteen, she moved into St Basils accommodation, where staff helped her access counselling and she learned to live independently alongside other residents. Now thirty, Cat is married, owns her home, and works as an operations manager providing materials and support back to the charity.
Where you could take it
Meet Cat as she organises supplies and support from her company to deliver back to the accommodation where she once lived.
