Make content about: Cassie found her confidence to join in

Big changes once left Cassie anxious and selectively mute. Now she makes meal plans and joins in with music and crafts.

This story

Cassie has autism and a visual impairment, and she found adapting to change difficult when she moved to a new service after college. She initially experienced anxiety, became selectively mute around unfamiliar people, and only ate food brought from home. With time and staff support, she grew in confidence, started making her own lunch, and now joins in with music, crafts, and horticulture.

Where you could take it

Join Cassie as she prepares her lunch and takes part in a rhythm sticks music session.
