Make content about: Carys trained a two-pound pony to win
Carys lost two ponies in two weeks. Then she turned an unruly two-pound pony into a competition winner.
This story
After losing both of her ponies within two weeks, Carys had no horse to ride for summer camp. She took a chance on Talk, a gelding her grandmother had bought for one pound as a companion pony after others found him too difficult to handle. Carys bought Talk for two pounds, devoted herself to training him, and went on to win and qualify in area show jumping and arena eventing competitions.
Where you could take it
Spend time with Carys and Talk at the yard to see how they train together over jumps.
