Diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2020, Carlie-Ann underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy. After waiting three years on a pandemic backlog, she had reconstruction surgery in July 2023, followed by nipple reconstruction and tattooing.
