Make content about: Bruce tows his own ventilator

Bruce survived open-chest surgery at nine days old, and now tows his own ventilator while playing at home.

This story

Days after he was born, Bruce was diagnosed with a rare tumour in his chest and had emergency open-chest surgery. The procedure damaged his diaphragm and vocal cords, leaving him reliant on a tracheostomy and entirely dependent on a ventilator. Now a cheerful toddler, he explores at home while towing his ventilator, supported by his parents and hospice respite carers.
