Bridget was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in February 2025 at the age of 38. She received chemotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy, targeted and hormone therapy at Ipswich Hospital. Having finished her main treatment, she is now receiving bone strengthening treatment and raising funds for the day unit nurses who supported her.
