Make content about: Binu joined a trial to fight leukaemia
After standard treatments failed, Binu joined a clinical trial using her own modified immune cells to fight leukaemia.
This story
In 2022, 39-year-old Binu experienced sudden bleeding after a minor foot injury and was diagnosed with acute leukaemia. Months of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant were followed by a relapse the next year. Leaning on her Catholic faith and family support, she joined a clinical trial for an experimental cell therapy and entered remission.
