Make content about: Bath Shed created a new workshop
After losing their workshop, Bath Shed rebuilt inside an empty container at a local farm to keep older adults connected.
This story
Bath Shed lost their city-centre workshop at the end of 2023, leaving older adults facing loneliness without a place to meet. Working with a local farm, the group created a new workshop and fitted out heating, electrics, plumbing, and workbenches. The space is now open for weekly sessions, and the group is planning outdoor play equipment for a local playgroup.
Where you could take it
Visit Bath Shed during a weekly woodwork session to see how members fitted out the container and hear about their plans for the local playgroup.
