Make content about: Barry is rebuilding his life
After 20 years flying planes, a brain tumour diagnosis grounded Barry and forced him to rebuild his life.
This story
After noticing numbness and fatigue following a busy flight schedule, Barry suffered a seizure on his way home from a long-haul flight. Tests revealed an inoperable oligodendroglioma, a rare form of brain tumour. After 33 radiotherapy sessions in Leeds showed minimal impact, he has begun chemotherapy while documenting his experience online and helping release a children's book for his daughters.
Where you could take it
