Make content about: Ann and Peter adapted their home

When Ann was diagnosed with motor neurone disease, she and Peter adapted their home to keep living their lives together.

This story

Ann was diagnosed with motor neurone disease just as she and her husband Peter were planning their retirement. As her mobility rapidly declined, hospice staff helped them convert their garage into an accessible bedroom and wet room and arranged an electric wheelchair. Now they attend a regular peer support group to share experiences and connect with others in similar situations.

Where you could take it

Visit Ann and Peter at home to see how they adapted their living space and talk about managing daily life with motor neurone disease.
