Make content about: Anita finally got a bed of her own
Moved into an unfurnished home, Anita slept on the floor for over a year before finally getting a proper bed.
This story
After leaving temporary accommodation, Anita and her teenage twins were placed into an empty home without furniture, white goods, carpets or curtains. She found recycled beds for her children through a local charity but could not afford one for herself, spending over a year sleeping on the floor with folded duvets. With further support from the furniture charity, she eventually received a mattress and bed frame, turning the empty house into a home.
