Make content about: Andrew takes on his first marathon
Andrew is taking on his first marathon in memory of his dad, who lived with a severe spinal cord injury.
This story
After a cycling accident left his dad paralysed from the neck down, specialist care helped him adapt and gave the family precious extra years together before he died in 2020. Andrew was never the sportsman in the family, but he has decided to take on his first marathon in his dad's memory. He is aiming to raise £2,500 to help other people with spinal cord injuries rebuild their lives.
Where you could take it
Join Andrew on a training run to hear about his dad and how he is preparing for his first marathon.
