Make content about: Amer is teaching digital skills

Amer arrived in the UK without internet access. Today, he uses what he learned to teach others digital skills.

This story

Amer arrived in the UK as an asylum seeker without an internet connection, leaving him locked out of online services and college coursework. After receiving a laptop and data from a local hub, he passed his English course and learned to navigate key websites. With his leave to remain now secured, he is studying health and social care and volunteering to teach others digital skills.

Where you could take it

Join Amer during a volunteering session at the digital hub as he helps someone learn essential online skills.
