This story

Adam's wife Beata suddenly lost sight in one eye due to a retinal detachment and underwent urgent treatment at Moorfields Eye Hospital. After walking five miles hand in hand while she recovered, Adam decided at 60 to take on a 100 km non-stop walk from London to Brighton to raise funds for the hospital's charity.
